# Umut Alisoglu / FileForge > alisoglu.com is Umut Alisoglu’s personal website, focused on practical software: FileForge free browser file tools and Repodock for local projects on Windows. Other experiments are listed separately on the Projects page. FileForge browser tools are free to use without an account. Selected files, pasted text and generated results are processed on the visitor’s device, in the current browser session. They are not uploaded to a conversion server or saved by this website. Download results before closing the tab. Ordinary visits download website code, fonts and engines from the host; the host receives ordinary connection information such as IP addresses. Optional preferences store settings locally only after opt-in. Optional offline mode caches public tool code, not selected files, filenames or results. The separately hosted game has its own local storage and external game-data requests. Word and PowerPoint conversion supports DOCX and PPTX up to 10 MB and 20 pages/slides. Preview-based exports contain flattened page images: layout, fonts and graphics can differ from Office. Legacy DOC/PPT files, macros and embedded objects are not supported. For exact Office layout, export from the original application. Extract the complete ZIP and keep its workspace folder beside FileForge.exe. WebView2 is required; only native video needs separately installed FFmpeg/FFprobe.
